CAIR-UIUC is a student chapter of CAIR (Council on American- Islamic Relations); the nations largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy group. Our mission is to enhance a peaceful understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding. We actively engage in civil rights issues, political empowerment, media monitoring, and community outreach.
